Frances McKisson, age 91, of New London, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Gaymont Nursing Center, Norwalk. She was born April 7, 1920, in Hepzibah, West Virginia, daughter of the late Charles and Angeline (Zubric) Yonik. She had lived in Cleveland and moved to Florida in the mid 1980's. Frances had been a security guard at Heinen's Grocery Store in the Cleveland area and had worked in the private investigating field. She had made airplane parts in Cleveland during World War II. Frances is survived by her son, Rick (Carol) Mechling of New London, her stepdaughter, Darlene Super of Naperville, Illinois; 2 grandsons, Curt and Mike Mechling. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McKisson; her siblings, Angie, Mary, Sylvia, Annie and Frank. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Eastman Funeral Home, New London were in charge of arrangements.
