Frances M. Ringlein, 95, of Norwalk, died Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Fisher Titus Medical Center. Born on May 5, 1927, to the late Robert and Clara (nee Conney) Strimpfell, Frances grew up in Norwalk and in 1945 she graduated from St. Paul Catholic High School, where she was the Salutatorian and was a member of the Glee Club.

Frances worked as a bookkeeper for Norwalk Truck Lines until 1968 when she moved to Lakewood, Colorado. Frances belonged to St. Paul Catholic Church.  Her hobbies included reading and sewing. Frances also enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing games on her computer.

She is survived by her son, Gerard (Barb) Ringlein, of Otis, CO; daughter, Ann Ringlein, of Glendale, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and siblings, Gary (Dolly) Dick, of Mansfield and Marjorie Koenhe, of Norwalk. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, August Ringlein, in 1992 and brothers, Larry and Robert Strimpfell.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Condolences for the Ringlein family may be shared online at www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com.
