Francis Marshall Dillman, 76, of Norwalk, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. Born on May 21, 1946, in Philidelphia, he was the son of the late Allison M. and Elizabeth (nee Ennis) Dillman. Francis grew up in Pennsylvania and joined the United States Army, later moving to Ohio in the late 60's.

Francis retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, working out of the Milan station. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and always made sure to keep the birds well fed. Francis enjoyed a good home cooked meal and cherished time spent with his kids and grandkids.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Aleen (nee Castle) Dillman; children, Matthew Dillman, of Norwalk, and Patty Dillman, of Lorain; siblings Joe, Jack, Robert, Theresa, and Katie; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Francis was preceded in death by his son Jason Dillman, and daughter Lela Stafford.
