Frank A. Hess, Sr., age 86, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2024 in Wellington, Ohio, with his beloved wife Anita by his side.

Frank was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was the son of Victor Joseph and Marie A. (Schikowski) Hess. He was the youngest of 8 brothers and sisters, Victor (Mary), Larry (Shirley), Wilford (Toots), Robert (Elizabeth), Marie (Martin) Singleton, Francis (Frank) Bartos, Cecelia (Daniel) Kraft, and Ralph (Wilma).

He went to John Marshall High School in Cleveland, and worked construction as a Brick Layer, Ford Motor Co in 1960, then worked as a Foreman at Fruehauf Trailers, Moen Stanadyne and Henrietta Twp.

He liked to travel, fish, mow the lawn, flip homes, cooking, and work in the yard growing vegetables in the garden.

Frank loved spending time with his wife, Anita, and his three boys, Frank (Denise), David (Sheila), Jim (Jenny) and his 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Kipton Community Church in Kipton, Ohio on Saturday, February 17, 2024. A Church service starts at 11:30 a.m.
