Frank I. Whitaker, age 67, of Greenwich died Wednesday, June 6th at his home after a short illness. Mr. Whitaker was born in Gunlock, KY to Adam and Rebecca (nee Howard) Whitaker. He had lived in Greenwich since the early 1960's.
Mr. Whitaker worked at the former C.E. Ward Company and Thomas Creative Apparel, both of New London. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Mansfield, where he accepted the Lord as his Savior last year.
Mr. Whitaker is survived by 3 sons, Tim Bowman of Greenwich, Jeff (Dawne) Whitaker of Ashland, and Adam Whitaker of Greenwich; 2 granddaughters, Brooke and Heather Whitaker of Ashland; and a grandson, Heath Bowman of Greenwich. He is also survived by 6 sisters, Mary Ratliff of Shiloh, Elderie Wireman, Eda England, and Evalee Shepherd of Indiana, Sally Jane Brown and Dosale Wireman of Kentucky; and a brother Bill Whitaker of Martin, Kentucky. Mr. Whitaker was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call on Saturday, May 9th from 12:30 until the time of funeral service at 2 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main Street, Greenwich. Pastor Randy Raynes will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery
