Freda A. Brietkrenz, age 86, of Wellington, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Breitkrenz was born November 1, 1921 in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Orlando and Ilia (nee Trainer) Strawser. Freda is survived by a daughter, Sandra K. Madche of New Baden, IL; a son, Jerry (Diane) Brietkrenz of Wellington; 4 grandchildren, Mark Brietkrenz of St. Louis, MO and Joanne, Jonathan and Adam Brietkrenz all of Wellington; and a sister, Dorothy Steele of Homerville. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Brietkrenz in 1994; an infant granddaughter, Holly and her sister, Lucy Homelot. Friends may call Wednesday, June 4 from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main Street, Wellington, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am. Rev. Stephen Carmany will officiate and burial will follow in Penfield Cemetery.
