Norwalk, Ohio - Frederick N. Barry, 71, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 in the Stein Hospice Care Center. He was born April 15, 1946 in Kenmore, New York, to the late Edward and Rita (Funk) Barry. Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during Vietnam era, for 8.5 years. He served on the USS Albany CG-10, the USS Tattnall DDG-19, and the USS Talbot DEG-4. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Barry, and by his children, Kate Pfingsten of Norwalk, Ohio, Matthew Barry of Norwalk, Ohio, and Benjamin Barry of Norwalk, Ohio, and Hannah Barry of Norwalk, Ohio, by his grandchildren, Corbin, Channing, Tanden, and Travis.
