Frederick L. Lyons Sr., 42, of Greenwich, Ohio, died unexpectedly on July 8, 2022, at Mercy Health-Willard Hospital.  He was born on August 29, 1979, in Oberlin, Ohio to Carol (Fairchild) Ashcroft and Larry Lyons Sr.

Fred will be remembered for his huge heart and funny, quick-witted nature.  He often marched to the beat of his own drum, but his love for his family and close friends was continuously displayed through his dedication and loyalty to them, no matter what the situation, or how he was feeling.  He enjoyed working on cars, scrapping, derbies, and rough truck.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi (Chandler) Lyons, of Greenwich; children, Frederick Lyons Jr., Katelynn Lyons, Faith Lyons, James Lyons and Catherine Lyons, Shyanne Moser, Kylie Moser and  Alivia Moser; Mother, Carol (Fairchild) Ashcroft; father, Larry Lyons Sr.; siblings, Christina (Patrick) Wagner, Angie Lyons, Larry Lyons Jr., Joseph Sr. (Cassie) Lyons, Danny Lyons, Marlena Lyons and Trent Elmer; grandson, Lucas ; mother in-law, Deborah Chandler and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Catherine Lyons, Emily and Roy Resor, and Harold Fairchild, and aunts, Georgetta and Peggy.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a service being held at some point near the end of the visitation.  Fred's brother, Joseph Lyons Sr., will lead the service on Thursday evening.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.  The Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
