Garnetta Jean 'Net' Pack, age 69, of Lorain died Friday, August 17 at Lorain Community after a short illness. She was born October 29, 1937, daughter of the late John Q. and Mary (Vance) Wiley. Mrs. Pack was born and raised in Harts Creek, WV and had lived in the Lorain area since 1957.
She was a machinist for Catania Medallions of Avon Lake for several years. Mrs. Pack was a Freewill Baptist and she enjoyed reading, traveling, and gardening.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharron Teressa Kidd and Deborah Bennett, both of Lorain and Donna Mastorovich of Crestwood, KY; two sons, Robert Pack of Winston Salem, NC and Randy Pack of Lorain; 11 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Pack is also survived by nine siblings, John 'June' Wiley of Chapmanville, WV, Lenora Mitchell of Westlake, Minerva D. 'Toots' Holbrook of Amherst, Sarah Baker of Elizabethtown, KY, Silford Wiley of Paynesville, Arville Glenn Wiley of Nettie, WV, Velma Dylag of Elyria, Oswald Wiley of Mammoth, WV and Linda Joyce Dent of Columbia, SC. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jean Pack, two sons, Warren Edward and James Eugene Pack, and an infant sister, Wilma Lee Wiley.
Friends may call on Monday, August 20 from 2 pm until time of funeral service on Tuesday, August 21 at 11 am at the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church, 205 Woodland Street. Pastor Billy Joe White with officiate the service and burial will follow at Ridge Hill Cemetery. Memorials can be made in care of Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St. Wellington, OH 44090 to aid with family expenses.
