Gary N. Greenfield, age 74, of Wellington died Saturday, September 29 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph's in Lorain after a short illness. He was born June 14, 1933 in North Olmsted to the late George T. and Lila (Waltenbaugh) Greenfield. Mr. Greenfield graduated from John Marshall High School in 1951 and then attended Baldwin Wallace College. He served his country in the Navy from 1954- 1956 during the Korean War. Mr. Greenfield worked for Minova International as a National Sales Manager distributing supplies for heavy construction and mining companies. He enjoyed model railroad trains and model airplanes and he loved horses. Mr. Greenfield was a member of the Wellington American Legion Post #8. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Valerie (Bunn) Greenfield, a son Jeffrey Greenfield of Georgetown, KY, a grandson, Garrett Nelson, and his brother, G. Thomas Greenfield of Florida. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the United Church of Huntington, St.Rt. 58, Wellington.
