Gary W. Hecker, Sr., 58 of North Fairfield died Friday, 12, 2011 at Fisher-Titus in Norwalk, after a sudden illness. Gary was born in Cleveland, son of the late Paul & Pauline (Legg) Hecker. He lived in Cleveland until 1992 when he moved to Lorain County, he's lived in North Fairfield since 2005. Gary graduated from West High in Cleveland and served in the US Army during Vietnam. He worked construction, liked auctions and Cleveland sports. Survived by wife, Cynthia; children, Gary W. Jr. at home, Cheyenne Wade of SC and Kim (Denny) Williams of Medina; siblings, Jerry Hecker and Barb Hecker; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Mayson and Marissa; and great grandson, Maverick. Preceded in death by his sister Claudina Hecker. There will be no services, Eastman Funeral Home assisted the family
