Gary W. Sprague, II, 54, of Greenwich, Ohio passed away on August 7, 2022, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  Born on February 26, 1968, to Gary W. and Stella M. Sprague.

Gary was a graduate of St. Paul High School, Circleville Bible College, and Wesley Biblical Seminary.  He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving a tour in Iraq and a tour in Afghanistan.  A former police officer for Greenwich Police Department and was currently employed by Valley Transportation, Inc.

Gary had an avid love for racing, his Trans Am, motorcycles and spending time with his kids.

In addition to his parents, Gary is survived by his children, Cory (Heather Lopez) Sprague, Ryan (Caroline) Sprague, Ian Sprague and Maya Sprague, sisters, Angela (Mauricio) Benjumea, Heather (Dan) Williams, brother, Troy (Angela) Sprague, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Wesley Evangelical Church, 58 E. Main St., Shiloh, Ohio 44878 where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Russ Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenwich.
