Obituary

Geneveive Hale, age 67, of Greenwich died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk. Born in Garrett, KY on January 5, 1941 to the late Sam and Hattie (nee Walker) Bolen, Geneveive has lived in Greenwich since 1959. She worked at Fannie Farmer, Norwalk for 5 years and she retired from Midwest Industries Div Mtd Products Inc., Willard in 2003. Geneveive attended the Little Rebecca Church, Plymouth and the Greenwich First Baptist Church. Geneveive enjoyed quilting, bingo, gardening and spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her children, Martin (Carolyn) Hale and Patricia Ann (Ron) Morrow, both of Greenwich; and two grandsons, Dylan and Ryan Hale, both of Greenwich; 250 foster children. Geneveive is also survived by brother, Tivis (Roberta) Bolen of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister-in-law, Vana Mae Bolen and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Ray Hale in 1980, 7 brothers, Edgil, Chester, Buster, Vester, Hershel, Floyd, and Berchel Bolen; and 1 sister, Mary Jane Holbrook. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 21, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich, where friends may also call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Pastors James Mullins and Gary Adkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to the American Cancer Society, Ohio Division, Inc. 5555 Fantz Road, Dublin, Ohio 43017 or the Greenwich First Baptist Church, 96 Townsend Street, Greenwich, Ohio 44837.
