George passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Brookdale Medina South Assisted Living facility in Medina, OH.  He was 88 years old.

George is preceded in death by his wife, Martha to whom he was married for 66 years.  His father, George L. Alleman; his mother, Grace Lucille Christopher Alleman Perry; his step father, Sam Perry; his brothers and sisters, Larry Alleman, Arthur Alleman, Howard Alleman, Nancy Hurst, Susie Alleman, and Alice Alleman; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Kramer, Noah Kramer and Jacob Kramer.

George's legacy continues through his children: Mindy Kramer (Rob Bramley) of Medina, Ohio, and Mike (Cindy) Alleman of Ashland, Ohio. He was a cherished grandfather to five surviving grandchildren: Kristi (Brian) Newsome of Alexandria, Virginia; Sam (Samantha) Kramer of Onsted, Michigan; Andrew (Brittany) Alleman of Nankin, Ohio; Joshua (Rachel) Alleman of Ashland, Ohio; Colton (Taylor) Alleman of Polk, Ohio.  His love extended to his eight great-grandchildren: Katherine, Thomas, Luke, Michael, Grant, Hudson, Olivia, and Mason.

George worked in the printing department at Westinghouse, Mansfield, Ohio until it closed in the early 70's.  From there he taught graphic communications at the Ashland County West Holmes Career Center.  He was also a realtor.  George's true passion was farming, which he enjoyed doing throughout his lifetime.  George and Martha spent winters in Pine Island, Florida.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St. New London, OH; a funeral service to celebrate George's life will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest near his wife Martha.
