George Clark, 82, of New London, died Monday, March 26, 2012 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. Born on November 7, 1929 in Amba, KY to the late Homer and Liza (Kidd) Clark, George lived over 30 years in the Wellington area before moving to New London.
He retired in March of 1992 from the Wellington Sterling Foundry after 40 years. Mr. Clark enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. Working outside in the yard was another passion of his.
Survivors include his five children, Emmitt (Ilene) Clark of Harold, KY, Pat Altabbaa of Sheffield Village, Jim (Kathy) Clark of Wellington, Angela (Brent) Cloyd of Wellington and Kimberly (Robert) Baker of Lorain; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; his companion of 20 years, Arizona McKinney and siblings, Dan Clark, Magaline Burrows and Irene Steppe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Clark; brothers, Jake, Kurt, and Okie Clark and sisters, Myrtle and Nannie Clark.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28 from 5-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington.
