George Perisic, Jr., 67, of Sullivan, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014. He was born on January 4, 1947 in Germany to the late Maria (nee Baker) and George Perisic, Sr. George grew up in the Cleveland and Garfield Heights areas before moving to Sullivan. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 2012. George liked spending time outdoors, working on cars and watching the birds at the bird feeder. He also enjoyed woodworking and was handy at making and repairing things. George is survived by his wife of 17 years, Myra Lee (nee Woofter) Perisic; sons, David George Perisic of Malvern and Geoffrey Thomas Perisic of Willard; grandchildren, Maria Elizabeth, Isaac Matthew and Benjamin David; brothers, Joe and Mike Perisic, both of North Ridgeville; sister-in-law, Gail Baumgardner; and nephews Douglas and Danny. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his sister, Dorothy Perisic. Services will be held at a later date.
