Obituary

George Eaton Kruger, 70, of Wellington, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Elms Retirement Village in Wellington. He was born February 28, 1940 in Lodi, son of the late James Kruger and Grace (Eaton) Reeves. George graduated from Wellington High School. He worked 36 ' years at Ridge Tool as a tow motor operator and was a member of the Wellington Eagles. George was a long time admirer and enthusiast of classic cars. Survivors include his children, Jerry Kruger and Cathy Kruger, both of Wadsworth; 3 grandchildren, David, Michael and Daniel Kruger, all of Creston. He is also survived by a half sister, Delia Reynolds of Oberlin and nephews, Terry and Scott Brown. George was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Brown. Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
