George Zdinak, of Wellington, died Monday, January 5, 2015. He was born in Toronto, Ohio to the late Alex and Mary (nee Horkulic) Zdinak. George served in the United States Air Force. George worked as an air traffic controller and owned George's Golf Repair in Wellington. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, VFW Post 6941, American Legion Post 8, and Eagles Aerie #2051. George loved to spend time on the golf course and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. George is survived by his sisters, Magdalene Pellior, Veronica Sutherin Helen Scalley, all of Toronto. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita, and his daughter, Sandy. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
