Gerald H. Bursiel, 78, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. He was born on December 30, 1942 to the late Alverna (Ackerman) and Gerald Bursiel.

Gerald graduated from Huron High School in 1961. He served for three years in the United States Airforce in Abeline, Texas during the Vietnam War. Gerald was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Sandusky. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, and enjoyed talking about politics and religion. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Mike) Bursiel-King, Stephen (Amy) Bursiel, and Paul Bursiel; grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Brittany, Theodore, Ethan, and Donald; and siblings, Virginia, Beverly, and Bonnie.

He will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, and his family will hold a memorial service for him on June 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 East Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 East Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 or to Heartland Hospice, 907 West State Street, Fremont, Ohio 43420.
