Geraldine A. (Daron) Sayles, age 95, of Ashland, died, Friday October 17, 2008 at Brethren Care in Ashland. Mrs. Sayles was born April 10, 1913 in New London, Ohio, daughter of the late, Charles & Cecil (Underhill) Daron. She was a 1931 graduate of Ruggles High School. She spent her early years in Akron and later in Mansfield and Ashland. Mrs. Sayles is survived by a sister, Christine Robertson of Ashland; nephews, Tom (Sue) Robertson of Salem, Oregon, Ronald (Jan) Daron of Pickerington, Danny (Celeste) Daron of Nederland, CO, Larry (Char) Robertson of Ashland; and a niece, Judy (James) Bernhard of Shiloh; sister-in-law, Dorothy Daron of Ashland; and 14 great nieces and nephews. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1958; two brothers, Lynn and Wayne Daron and a nephew, Stanley Ramsey. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Grove Street Cemetery in New London. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Eastman Funeral Home, New London is in charge of arrangements.
