Gladys Noble, age 98, of Greenwich, died Monday morning, November 19, 2007 at Willard Health Care. She was born January 25, 1909 in Ruggles Twp., daughter of the late Franklin and Martha Ann (Quinn) Gibson. She had lived in Ruggles Twp., Sullivan and moved to Greenwich when she married in 1936. Mrs. Noble had lived in the same house until 2006. She was a 1927 graduate of Ruggles High School. Mrs. Noble and her husband farmed together for many years. She was a homemaker. She had been a former member of the Greenwich Ladies Aid Society for over 50 years. She is survived by her nephew, Donald Gibson ; her cousins, Pam & Art Norman of Norwalk and several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Noble, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. , Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Ripley Church, 4130 S. Edwards Rd., Greenwich with Pastor David Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich were in charge of arrangements.
