Gladys Rowland, 86, of Wellington, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin. She was born April 22, 1926, in Wellington, to the late Percy John and Ivan Marie (Martin) Mohrman. She worked at Cleveland Steel and a homemaker. She enjoyed puzzles, working in the yard, and traveling with her husband. Her life revolved around her family and friends. Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Harry Rowland, Jr.; children, Gary (Jane) Rowland of Wellington, Judy (Ronald) Pickworth of LaGrange, Frank Rowland of Wellington and Robert (Robin) Rowland of Wellington; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and sister, Joanne Scott of Wellington. Gladys was preceded in death by a great grandchild and sisters, Maryorie Reising and Bernice McCoy. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a service will be held Thursday at 11 am with Pastor Tina Siroki officiating.
