Glenn Hale, 84, of Greenwich, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Fisher-Titus
Medical Center in Norwalk. He was born on October 30, 1925 in Magoffin County,
Kentucky, son of the late Greene and Sissie (Shepherd) Hale.
Glenn married his wife Edna on February 20, 1948 and moved to Greenwich in the
1960's. He worked 46 years for Conrail before retiring.
He was a member of the Lorain County Beagle Club, the Little Rebecca Church and the
Little Pilgrim Home Church of the Old Regular Baptist. Glenn enjoyed hunting,
spending time with his family and grandkids.
He is survived by his children, Glenna Hale of Greenwich; Jerry Hale of Plymouth;
Nelson Hale; Julia Hale; Darrell Hale; John Hale and Vickie Hale all of Greenwich, 25
grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Glenn is also survived by his sister, Sue Reed
of Greenwich and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Edna, his parents, children, Cassie Mullins; Ralph Hale; Kerry Hale; Jacqueline Hale and
Archer Hale, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 grandsons and 1 great grandson.
A visitation will be held at the Little Rebecca Church, 4982 Henry Road, Plymouth, Ohio
on Monday, September 13 from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
