Obituary

Gloria J. Moll (76) of Celeryville, Ohio, wife, mother, grandmother and faithful follower of Jesus Christ went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Mercy Health, Willard Hospital.  She was born December 30, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Bernice (Bastianse) and Harvey Kingma.  She grew up the 2nd of 6 children and attended Grand Rapids Christian School and Grand Rapids Junior College of Practical Nursing. Soon after, Gloria married Lynn Moll in October, 1965. Gloria was a member of the Willard Christian Reformed Church and loved the Lord with all her heart.  She enjoyed sewing and crafting, but her true love was to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She spent most of her working time as a nurse at Willard Hospital and Hillside Acres Nursing Home. Gloria was known for her sweet and bright smile for everyone she encountered.

Gloria is survived by her devoted husband Lynn of 55 years and their 3 children: Tim (Nancy) Moll of Rock Hill, SC, Amy (Nate) deVries of Grand Rapids, MI and Sandie (Bryan) Posthumus of Denver, CO.  7 grandchildren: Emily (Jonny) Moll-Stover, Lauren (David Hill) Moll; Luke, Hannah, and Lilly Kate deVries; Hayden and Logan Posthumus; 3 siblings : Carole (Larry) Poll, Harvey Jay (Sue) Kingma, Debra (Dan) Smith, and special friend Cheri DeVries all of Grand Rapids, MI, Brothers in law: Richard Monsma of San Bernadino, CA, Herman Moll of Denver, CO, Dave (Jan) Moll and Keith (Linda) Moll of Celeryville, Sid Cooper of Sarnia, Ont. Canada and Sisters in Law: Bev Kingma and Phyllis Moll both of Grand Rapids, MI and Joyce Moll of Celeryville. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marcia Monsma and brother Bill Kingma as well as in-laws Senetta, Franklin, Ken, Don , Roger & Arlene Moll, and Janice Cooper.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Willard Christian Reformed Church, 4180 St. Rt. 103 South, Willard with Pastor Nate deVries officiating.  Friends may call Friday, January 8 from 4-6 p.m. at the Church and Saturday 10:30 until the time of the service at 11.  In accordance with COVID guidelines, masks and social distancing measures will be expected at the visitation and funeral.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Celeryville Christian School, 4200 Broadway Rd, Willard, OH 44890.   Jeff Kocher and the Eastman Funeral Home family are honored to serve the Moll family, online condolences may be made at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
