Harl R. Myers, 76, of Norwalk, Ohio, died naturally but unexpectedly on October 17, 2025, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.  He was born on December 25, 1948, in Norwalk to the late Ray and Rosaltha (Husted) Myers and was a Norwalk High School graduate.

Harl was an avid chess player with many interests and hobbies over the years including photography, gardening, collecting music, art, collecting knives, and computers and technology in general.  He served his country as part of the United States Army during Vietnam.

Professionally Harl worked for GTE (later Verizon) and Fisher-Titus Medical Center, installing telecommunications systems.

Survivors include his children, Ray (Stacie) Myers of Mansfield, and Michelle (Len) Krisha of Collins; brother, Toby Myers; grandchildren, Morgan Anderson, Claire and Connor Myers; and sister in-law, Karla Blanton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Diane (Schaefer) Myers, in 2019, and sister, Cathy Corwin.

Visitation for Harl will be on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
