Obituary

Harold E. Amburgy, age 93, of Greenwich, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at Fisher- Titus Medical Center, Norwalk. He was born October 26, 1918, in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late John and Rebecca (Allen) Amburgy. He lived in Greenwich for many years. Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for General Elastomer in Norwalk for several years. Harold loved to go coon hunting. He is survived by his children, Anita (Jim) McCoy of Greenwich, Larry (Joetta) Amburgy of Indiana, Danny (Linda) Amburgy of Oberlin, Ronnie (Kay) Amburgy of Florida Johnny (Cindy) Amburgy of Mt. Blanchard; son-in-law, Ray Krisha; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel O. Amburgy in 2011, daughter, Ramona Krisha in 2009, siblings Stella, Minnie, Marie and Alma, Ralph and Arnold. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Pastor Richard Ates officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
