Harold E. McKinney (78) of New London died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Laurels of New London.  He was born October 8, 1941 in Webbville, KY to the late Maxine (Roberts) and Lovell McKinney.  He was a machinist and tool maker at Invacare in Elyria until retiring.  He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing and farm tractor pulls.  He also had a passion for cars and street racing.

Mr. McKinney is survived by his son: Jerold (Debra) McKinney of North Fairfield,  3 grandchildren: Hannah, Troyce and Wyatt, 2 sisters: twin sister Carol Chandley of Texas and Linda Slanczka of Oberlin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Darrell McKinney and infant sister: Blanche and granddaughter: Leah.

Friends and family may gather on  Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4-7 PM at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London, OH.  Where services will be held on  Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM.  burial will follow at the Rochester Cemetery, Griggs Road.  Expressions of sympathy may be shared by visiting www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
