Harvey V. Lance Sr., 82, of Sullivan, died Friday, October 21, 2022 at University Hospital, Parma. Born on October 25, 1939, he was the son of the late Ralph and Eunice (nee Brown) Lance. Harvey spent most of his life in Wellington before moving to Sullivan in 2001.

Harvey was a truck driver with Ross Transportation, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed attending church, and cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Carolyn (Edward) Sullivan, of TN, Harvey (Cindy) Lance Jr, of Sullivan, Pamela (Ronnie) Brown, of West Salem, Lisa (David H.) Lance, of Brookpark, Bob (Mary) Lance, of Sullivan, and Tony Lance, of North Ridgeville; 21 grandchildren; 44 great Grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Reta Shepherd, Eva Hager, Bertha Stump, Raymond Lance, and Vernon Lance. Harvey was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Bertha (nee Pettry) Lance; daughter, Debbie Harmon; and several siblings.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 26at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St, New London, from 6-8 p.m. A private burial will take place at Nova Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
