IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Haydin Lee
Carruthers-Seymour
October 24, 2022 – December 12, 2023
Haydin Lee Carruthers-Seymour, 13 months, unexpectedly received her heavenly wings on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at OhioHealth Mansfield surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 24, 2022 in Columbus to Danielle Carruthers and Clayton Seymour, she was an independent toddler who always wanted to be heard. Once Haydin learned to talk she never stopped, and once she learned the words "no," and "stop," she used them loudly and often. Haydin loved animals and her favorite toys weren't toys at all; she loved cell phones, remotes, and anything she could get her hands on … and if you tried to take her prized findings from her she'd use those favorite words. Haydin would follow her parents and grandparents around, always at their ankles, and would again, use those favorite words if you tried to walk away from her. However, if she wanted to leave you she would. Life was always on Haydin's terms.
Haydin had an infectious smile that would scrunch up her nose and show her perfect little teeth. She was always happy, and her smile and big belly laughs was her signature. Her wild blonde hair couldn't be tamed and brilliant blue eyes shone everywhere she went and melted hearts of all that knew her. Haydin loved clothes – whether her's or other's – and would proudly "dress" herself by throwing various articles around her neck like a cape when she found something she decided she needed to wear. Her carefree personality, fierce independence, and unique sense of fashion will be remembered fondly by those that knew and loved her.
Haydin is survived by her loving parents, Danielle Carruthers and Clayton Seymour; maternal grandparents, Brenda and Marc Carruthers; maternal great-grandparents, Anna (Daniel) Reep and Debbie (Gary) Carruthers; maternal uncles, Ashton Carruthers and Mason (Camielle) Wilson; paternal grandparents Suzanne (Jon) Patton and Neal (Tammy) Seymour; paternal great-grandparents, Carl (Linda) Morefield, Darlene Strawser, Ted (Anne) Vanscoy and Barbara and Larry Valentine; paternal aunts and uncles, Connor (Kayla) Seymour, Abigail (AJ) Pacher, Nick Chafin, Caroline Chafin, and Sophia Seymour; cousins, Addisen, Emma, Amara, and Sebastian; and many other great-aunts and uncles, relatives, and friends who will cherish her precious memory forever.
