Hazel Marie Davison, 86, of Wellington, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Born on July 10, 1925 in Grafton to the late Albert and Laura (nee Thompson) Heath, Hazel was the youngest of 13 children. Hazel and her husband, Howard, moved to Wellington more than 50 years ago to raise their family. Hazel was endlessly devoted to her family. She dedicated her life to taking care of the ones she loved. Her constant devotion has left her family with many precious memories to cherish and laughs to share. Hazel is survived by her sons, James Davison of Wellington, Gary Davison of Georgia, and Daniel (Chris) Davison of Wellington; her grandchildren, Bill (Mercy) Davison of Illinois, Amy Davison of Wisconsin, Daniel (Amy) Davison of Wellington, Randie (Russ) Taylor of Wellington, Matthew Davison of Arizona, and Aaron Davison of Wellington; and her great-grandsons, Tyler, Noah, Ben, Landon and Kane Davison. Hazel is also survived by her adoring nephew and niece, Carl and Carol Marley of Wellington. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Davison, on July 11, 2000, seven brothers and five sisters. A private family graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington, with Hazel's grandson, Aaron Davison, officiating the service.
