Hazel L. Lee, age 69, of Greenwich and New London, passed away on November 8, 2025 under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve in Medina, after battling a rare form of Leukemia

Hazel was a wife to David "Ed" Lee, and mother to son, David (Liz) Lee of Ontario, OH. She had a grandson, Dylan (Molly) Lee; and two great-grandsons, Cooper, and Maddox. She is also survived by her siblings, Ralph Owens, Juanita Hall, Elvie Case, Joyce Hardy, Larry Owens, and Pelmer Owens; and many nieces and nephews.

She was member of the New London Eagles and New London American Legion Axillary. She worked as a bus driver for South Central Schools, property manager, and in Senior Home Care.

Hazel was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Lee, parents, Rosie Carroll Owens and Lee Owens; sisters, Helen Keathley, Fannie Perkins, and Mary Owens, and Brothers, Nathan Owens and Iljean Owens.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W Main St., New London, OH 44851. Additional visitation will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, beginning at 11:00am until funeral services begin at 1:00pm, also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
