Heath Mohrman, 48 of Wellington, OH passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2016. Heath was a 1986 graduate of Wellington High School and a 1991 graduate of Cleveland State University. While at Wellington, he was a standout in football and wrestling. He made the 1st team All Ohio Football Team and was a two-time state qualifier in wrestling, placing 3rd his senior year in the 185 lb weight class. He went to Cleveland State University on a full wrestling scholarship where he made more lifelong friends. Heath enjoyed hunting, fantasy football, playing cards and watching his son's play sports. Heath left an indelible impression on all those who came in contact with him. He was always quick with a smile, kind, gentle and always willing to lend a helping hand. Heath valued friends and family and would say his greatest joys were his sons, Dylan and Hunter. Heath worked on his family's dairy farm but really wanted to be a professional gambler. He fine-tuned his poker skills on his friends and family (you know who you are) and we all still loved him. Survivors include his parents Roger and Joyce (nee Sobieski) Mohrman; sons Dylan of San Diego, CA and Hunter of Nova; siblings Lisa (Keith) Mohrman, of Nova, Chris (Terri) Mohrman, Amy (Joe) Calfo, and Julie Mohrman, all of Wellington; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, September 21, from 4-8 p.m. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 140 South Main Street, Wellington, where services will be held on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m., Rev Becki Verbridge officiating.
