Norwalk, Ohio - Heather I. Marker, 43, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Fisher- Titus Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio, and came to this area in 2003 from Amherst, Ohio.

Heather was employed at P.N.C. National Bank of Norwalk, Ohio. She was a volunteer for the Huron County Humane Society, and enjoyed walking. Heather was a loving mother and enjoyed her son's school and sporting activities. She is survived by her son, Eric Marker of Norwalk, Ohio, by her mother, Karen Icard of Gallipolis, Ohio, and by her brothers, Scott Icard of Elkview, West Virginia, and Christopher C. Icard of Laken, West Virginia. Heather's family would like to thank Nathan E. Marker for his support and encouragement. Heather was preceded in death by her father, Paul E. Icard in 2015 and by her sister, Amy Icard in 1978. Friends may call on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Friend, and Chaplain, Mel Sayler of Stein Hospice Service will officiate. Interment will be in Ohio Valley Memorial Gardens, Gallipolis, Ohio, on Monday, January 11, 2016.
