Helen J. Campbell, 88, of New London, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Willows of Willard. She was born on February 16, 1928 in New London to the late Arthur and Ellen (nee Watkins) Johnson. Helen was a 1947 graduate of New London High School. Helen was known as a social butterfly, whether it was helping someone get to the grocery store or attending a garage sale, she always made herself available for others. Helen dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her friends. Helen is survived by her children Linda Goodspeed of Dublin, Penny Sloan of New London, Larry (Marilyn) Campbell of New London, and Terry (Julie) Campbell of Huron; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Margaret Johnson and Margie Hanna. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Frank in 2013, and her brothers Wayne and Thomas Johnson, her twin sister Mary Johnson Campbell, and her brother-in-law Richard Campbell. Friends and family will be received on Monday, May 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St, New London where services will be held on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. with Rev.
