Helen Marie High, 83, of Norwalk, a believer in Jesus Christ, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Fisher Titus Medical Center.

Helen was born on April 23, 1938 in New Haven, OH to the late Adrian and Bertha (Stevens) Conklin.

Helen was a 1956 graduate of Plymouth High School and later in life received her Bachelor's degree from North Central Technical College. While raising her family, Helen was a dedicated homemaker. She worked in various capacities, but the common denominator was always serving others. Helen enjoyed volunteering for various local organizations. She was skilled with various crafts, enjoyed coloring and was a dedicated prayer warrior, who kept a book of names that she prayed for.

Helen is survived by 3 daughters, Tania (Pete) DuRell of Lorain, Rebecca (Ron) Mardis of Collins and Theresa (Daniel) Gregory of Norwalk; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 4 siblings, Sue Egner of Shelby, Adrianna (Dale) Sellers of Vermilion, David Conklin of Shelby and Gary Conklin of Shelby.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, George High, whom passed away in 1994.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
