Obituary

Helen F. Copeland (nee Zeroll), 99 beloved wife of the late C.E. (Cope) Copeland passed away on March 9, 2013. She was born October 28, 1913 to Richard and Bertha Zeroll (nee Bremke) in Amherst, Ohio. She grew up in the Elyria area and owned a gift shop there. After a brief time in Sarasota Florida she eventually made her home in Upper Arlington, Ohio. She worked for the Ohio State Pharmaceutical Association and World Book Encyclopedia, a division of Marshall field, Chicago. Mrs. Copeland moved to Wellington after her marriage to Mr. Copeland in 1963. She worked in the administrative offices of Oberlin College for several years prior to retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Clifford Zeroll. She is survived by her sister Loretta Perry of Wisconsin, sister-in-law Lillian Zeroll of Florida, sons Rick Jackson (Karen) of Elyria, Ed Copeland (Lisa) of Wellington, daughter Cherrine Sell of Harrodsburg KY, ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She died at Abbewood in Elyria which has been her residence for the last 5 years prior to that she and her husband resided on Grand Ave. in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Copeland wintered for 25 years in Ft. Myers, FL. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with grandson Dan Jackson officiating. Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Jacob's Well Church mission fund, 1670 Berkshire Dr, Green Bay, WI 54313.
