Helen Louise Moore, 92, of Wellington died Wednesday, March 07, 2012,
at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 16,
1919, in Wellington to the late Ernest and Corabelle (nee Cave)
Wrench. Helen was a 1937 graduate of Wellington High School.
For 44 years Helen worked with various florists in the Wellington area
including Joyce and Co. Florist in Wellington. She was an active
member of the First Baptist Church in Wellington where she taught
Sunday School, was a member of the Missionary Society, attended the
Maranatha Adult Sunday School class, and was a member of the Kings
Daughter. Helen was also a member of the Gray Lady Under the Red Cross
at the Wellington Community Hospital.
Helen is survived by her husband of 71 years, Floyd Moore; children
Roger (Donna) Moore of Wellington and Holly (Fred) Finks of Ashland;
grandchildren Jonathan Finks, Casey Moore, and Alyson Pflugfelder; 6
great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law Dortha Wrench. Helen was
preceded in death by her brother William Wrench.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 10, from 10-11 a.m. at
Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington with
services beginning at 11 a.m., Rev. Thomas Alexander officiating,
burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. In lieu of
flowers donations in Helen's memory may be sent to: New Life Hospice,
