Helen Elizabeth Pritt, 82, of Amherst, Ohio passed from this life on March 17, 2009. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on April 4, 1926, the daughter of John Wallace and Florence Louise Rife. She attended and graduated from Savannah High School in Savannah, Ohio. On November 15, 1957 she married James R. Pritt in Monroe, Michigan. She lived most of her life out west until retirement in 1994 when she moved back to Ashland, Ohio and later to Amherst, Ohio. She had a wide circle of friends she truly loved and enjoyed. Throughout her life she was involved in various activities and always had her hobbies, bingo being her favorite. She is survived by her six children; two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Gary Rogers of Oberlin, Sara and Charlie Jones of Stratford, OK, four sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Carol Foreman of Tennessee, Douglas and Pamela Foreman of Wellington, Dwight Foreman of Kansas, Dane and Carla Anderson-Pritt of Garden City, KS; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Pritt on April 5, 1998. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at the Ashland County Memorial Park. Burial will be in the Masonic Gardens. Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, Wellington is in charge of the arrangements. The family would like to thank Golden Acres for their caring and support.
