Helen Ann Boose, 93, of Norwalk, passed away early Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022, at Providence Care Center in Sandusky.

Helen was born on July 11, 1929, in Norwalk to the late Veronica (Meskauskas) and Charles Stefan.

Helen graduated from Townsend High School in the Class of 1947. She was employed at the former New Departure in Sandusky, but she spent most of her years as a dedicated homemaker for her family. Helen was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, crocheting, canning, and gardening.

Helen is survived by her 6 children, John C. (Denise) of California, Thomas (Kelly) Boose of Sandusky, Irene Humphreys of Columbus, Loretta (Dennis) Burkhalter of Texas, Catherine (Des) Shaw of Australia, and Margaret (Mark) Wilkie of Arizona; 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John Boose, who passed away in 2001.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857 from 11 am until 12:45 pm before proceeding to St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857 for a 1:30 pm Funeral Mass. The burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Norwalk.
