Helen Ann Webb, 61, of Greenwich, died February 27, 2012 at Mercy Willard Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born October 31, 1950, in Cincinnati and lived most of her life in Greenwich.
She graduated from Tiffin Academy of Hair Design. Helen owned and managed the Greenwich Veterans Home for 31 years and Sisters Hair Salon in Greenwich.
Helen loved her grandchildren, painting, music and reading.
Survived by daughters, Crystal Jackson, Renee Pomposelli and Megan (Jason) Blanton all of Greenwich; grandchildren, Corey Barnett, Carrie Barnett, Caleb Barnett, Tanisha Pomposelli, Tashonda Valliant, Dylan Blanton, Dalton Blanton, Dakota Blanton and Dixon Blanton; significant other, Gino Lenz; special niece, Mista Hoffman; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Helen is also survived by siblings, Alice Glines, Lynna Morrison, Laura Erswell, Peggy Morrison and Robert Webb; her special friends, Sandy Dendinger and Juanita Barchanowicz. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Peggy (Reed) Webb and brother, Mitchell Webb.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich where a service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
