Henry Daniel Lane, Jr., 76, of Shenandoah, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. He was born on September 3, 1936 in Charleston, WV to the late Henry and Alberta (nee Long) Lane, Sr. Henry enjoyed hunting. Survivors include his children, Joseph Lane, of Greenwich, David (Dollie) Lane, of Greenwich, Danny (Julie) Lane, of New London, Cheryl Gilt, of New York, Jane (Gail) McClain, of Greenwich and Rachel Lane, of Gilbert, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings, Rosemary Paugh and David Lane, both of Norwalk. Henry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jean Lane; infant daughter, Christine; son, Malcolm and sisters, Sarah and Joann.
