Henry L. Shepherd, age 58, of Greenwich, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Samaritan Regional Health System, Ashland after a 2 month illness. He was born April 22, 1949 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, son of the late Norman and Myrtle Shepherd. He had lived in the Greenwich area for the past 30 years. Mr. Shepherd had worked for 28 years at Voisard in Shiloh. He is survived by his wife, Geneva (Bradford) Shepherd, whom he married October 2, 1967; 6 sons and 2 daughters, Darrell (Angela) Shepherd of Ruggles, Anita Shepherd & her fiance Terry Salyers of Greenwich, Carolyn (Mike) Cline of Shiloh, Ben (Wendy) Shepherd of Shenandoah, Henry Shepherd, Jr. & Heather Tallman of Plymouth, Denver Shepherd, Brandon Shepherd & his fiance, Shauntell Spears, Adrian Shepherd all of Greenwich; 13 grandchildren; 1 brother, Arvill Shepherd of Kentucky; 4 sisters, Brenda (Allen) Kilgore, Eva (Robert) Bailey, Linda (Reggie) Shepherd, Teresa Shepherd all of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by a sister, sister in law and 3 brothers. Friends may call from 6 ' 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, 96, Townsend St., Greenwich where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 with Rev. S.T. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich. Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich were in charge of arrangements.
