Herman Robert Weibel, 86, passed away on March 10, 2022, to be with His Savior.  He was born November 23, 1935, in Cleveland, OH to the late Lena (Wenger) and Herman Weibel.  Herman was married to Phyllis Jean (Shaffer) for 58 years, who preceded him in death, and was the father of five sons.  Christopher Weibel (deceased), Curtis Weibel of Lyons, CO, Eric Weibel of Dayton, OH, Jonathan Weibel of State College, PA, and Seth Weibel of Shiloh, OH. His parents, of Westlake, OH and brother, Ralph Weibel, preceded him in death.  He is also survived by his sister Susan Thomas of Westlake, OH, 5 daughters in law, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Mr. Weibel graduated from Lakewood High School in 1953 and Ohio Northern University in 1956 with a BSPH.  While in college, he was an active member of the Alpha Chapter of Ohio's Sigma Phi Epsilon in Ada, Ohio.  He worked in the profession of Pharmacy from 1956-2011, owning/operating his own store in Bellevue, Ohio for 19 years.  He retired from Fruth Pharmacy in Waverly, Ohio.  He was dedicated to his profession but also, he loved gardening, traveling abroad, and was a devoted father and grandfather.

Anyone who knew Herman would recall his quick wit, great humor, but also his generosity and dedication to his community.  They also would remember his smile, welcoming demeanor, and his love of playing the piano.  He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Savannah, OH and was an active member of church choirs wherever he lived.  He also served with "Mission to Amish People" (MAP) at his current church.  He will be greatly missed by his many family members and friends.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, April 2, 2022, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, 575 US-250, Savannah, Ohio 44874 with Pastor John Bouquet officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to MAP.
