Howard K. Leber, age 84, of Greenwich , died Monday, March 23, 2009 after a short illness in the home where he was born. He was born January 2, 1925, son of the late George & Myrtle (Kean) Leber. He was a life long resident of the Greenwich area. Howard graduated in 1942 from Greenwich High School. He was a member of the Wesley Evangelical Church, Shiloh. Howard was a lifelong farmer and drove school bus for the South Central School District for 17 years. He enjoyed his farm and his woods. He is survived by his children, Sharon (Fred) Ramsey of Norwalk, Marlene (Richard) Wiles of Willard, Randall (Deb) Leber of Greenwich, Pat (Dick) Shriver of Shiloh and Scott Leber of Rockford, IL; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda J. Leber in 2007 and a brother, Robert Leber. At Howard's request services will be private at a later date. Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich were in charge of arrangements. Memorials if desired may be made to the donors favorite charity.
