Mansfield, Ohio - Howard L. McKenzie, 73, of Willard, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Kindred Hospital, Mansfield, Ohio. He was born November 10, 1942 in Bellevue, Ohio, and came to the Willard area in 1978 from Bellevue. He was raised catholic at the Immaculate Conception Church of Bellevue. Howard was a truck driver for Dave Sand and Stone of Wauseon, Ohio. He enjoyed sports, politics, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his sons, Sam (Teri) Bundren, of Norwalk, Ohio, Mike (Pam) McKenzie, Paul L. McKenzie, and Bill McKenzie, all of Willard, Ohio, by his daughter, Michelle McKenzie (Robert Clements) of Willard, Ohio, by 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Lonnie (Jean) McKenzie of Naples, Florida, and James McKenzie of Bellevue, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred D. McKenzie in 2006, by his daughter, Kathleen Bundren, by his sisters, Nelda (Bud) Raines, and Alice Treat, and by his sister in law, Mary McKenzie. Friends may call on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Fr. Eric Culler, Pastor of St. Frances Catholic Church, Willard, Ohio, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
