Howard "Rock" Williams, 85, of New London died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born August 16, 1938, in Floyd County, KY to the late Cassie (Moore) and Silas Williams.  Rock worked for CSX for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Bluegrass on his guitar but cherished most spending time with his family especially on the holidays. Rock was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church.

Mr. Williams was married to Irene (Parsons) Williams who preceded him in death on January 10, 2020.  He is survived by his 4 daughters, Karen (Dennis) Masters of New London, Linda (Pard, deceased) Whitaker of Greenwich, Sharon (Benjamin) Jeffreys of Willard and Lisa (Ryan) Devore of New London. 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son, Silas Wayne Williams; grandson, Aaron Lee Williams and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5-8 PM at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St, New London, 44851. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, from 5-8 PM at the Little Dove Church in Little Mud, KY, where Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 18, at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery in Printer, KY.  Online condolences may be made at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
