Hubert Fuller, Huey, 72, of Lorain passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He was born on May 4, 1936 in Coalman, Kentucky to the late Jonah and Pauline Fuller. Huey lived in Lorain since 1954 but enjoyed returning to Kentucky whenever possible.
Hubert worked at U.S. Steel for thirty years and was a proud member of the steelworkers union. He liked going to flea markets and collected glassware.
Survivors include his four children, Ronald Fuller of Jeromesville, Kimberly (Olin) Olah of Lorain, Karen (Dwayne) Michaels of West Salem, Kristy (John) Fuller of Lorain; his former wife Patricia, and nine grandchildren, Chad, Robert, Raymond, Shawn, Randy, William, Krista, Eric and Elijah. Hubert is also survived by two siblings, Phil Fuller of North Carolina and Mary Struckoff of Nova. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Fuller; a grandson, Ryan; a great granddaughter, Madison and by two brothers, Junior and Donald.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Howard Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Sullivan Southview Cemetery.
