Ilene D. Villanueva, 46, of Wellington peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, surrounded by her family at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. She was born on March 18, 1969 in Riverside CA to Patricia (nee Davis) Elkin and Daniel Lara. Ilene spent her childhood between California and Wellington and moved to Wellington in 2004. Ilene worked as a computer tech and thoroughly enjoyed working on computers. She was a talented artist enjoying both drawing and tattooing. Ilene liked to listen to oldies whether it was dancing or cruising in her car. Most of all she cherished time with her family, laughing and dancing with her kids and grandkids. Ilene is survived by her parents Patricia (George) Elkin and Daniel Lara; children Aaron Matthew Villanueva of Wellington, Vanessa Michelle Villanueva, of FL, Victoria Mercedes Villanueva and Valarie Marie Villanueva both of Wellington; 13 grandchildren; siblings Angela Hendrix of Wellington, Adam Lara, of CA, Andrew Lara of Wellington, Rudy Lara of Wellington, Dimitri Lara and Crystal Lara both of CA. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, niece Lauren, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents. Friends and family will be received on Friday March 18, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Street Chapel, 139 Lincoln Street, Wellington, Where services will be held on Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Steven Marchand officiating, burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
