Irvin R. Wunder, 76, of Norwalk, passed away early Monday morning, December 20, 2021 at Gaymont Nursing Home.

Irvin was born on March 25, 1945 in Sandusky, OH to the late Lee and Christine (Bengo) Wunder.

After graduating high school, Irvin proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Mayflower after more than 30 years of dedicated employment. Irvin attended the United Methodist Church in North Fairfield. In his spare time, he enjoyed weekly joy rides with his family, going to cedar point and the surrounding beaches.

Irvin is survived by numerous siblings, in-laws and other loving relatives.

In addition to his parents, Irvin was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wunder, whom passed away in 2017 and numerous siblings.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 23, from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 12 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will follow in North Fairfield Cemetery.
