Jack L. Prelipp, 72, of Ashland, Ohio, died on Monday, October 28, 2024, at his residence with his loving family by his side.  He was born on February 5, 1952, in Willard, Ohio; the son of the late Dale and Phyllis (Day) Prelipp.

Jack worked for Spirit in Willard and various other employers.  He was an active member of the North Fairfield American Legion, where he played on the dark ball league.  Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Willard Conservation League.  In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians and Browns.  Jack cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his loving wife Sue Prelipp, whom he married on August 10, 1985; sons, Jason and Crystal Prelipp of Greenwich and Curtis Prelipp of Ashland; two grandchildren, CJ Prelipp and Landon Prelipp; brother, Jerry and Laura Prelipp of Shiloh, along with several nieces and nephews.  Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Prelipp.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London, where his Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at the Rochester Griggs Road Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to a luncheon following the burial at the Little Pilgrim's Home Church, 1487 US Highway 224, Greenwich, OH 44837.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
